Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival in Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and transfer to Gangtok. Enjoy a scenic 5–6 hour drive along the Teesta River surrounded by beautiful hills and landscapes. After reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel, relax, and later explore MG Marg for shopping and local cuisine. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 – Gangtok to Lachung
After breakfast, travel from Gangtok to the beautiful mountain village of Lachung. During the journey, enjoy scenic views and visit Bhim Nala Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in Sikkim, and stop at Chungthang if time permits. On arrival in Lachung, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 3 – Yumthang Valley Excursion
Wake up early and head to Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, located at about 11,800 feet. Explore the beautiful valley and the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, famous for its colorful alpine flowers. You can also visit the nearby hot springs known for their medicinal properties. Later, return to Lachung for lunch and continue your journey back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gangtok and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Depart for your onward journey with wonderful memories of your Sikkim trip.
